LEARN TO SWIM FREELY

Knowing what your life goal, dream job or mission is is often not enough. It took me almost two decades to finally swim freely – to be able to fully dedicate myself to my life’s work, mission and goal – to be a full-time coach and inspire people.

Already during my train the trainer programme in 1999 I felt that I wanted to be a coach. And my training group saw that too. Again and again they gave me the feedback that this setting one-to-one or in very small groups would suit me.

Now, coaching is not a profession you can just do – especially not if, like me, you still had a thousand „construction sites“ in your head to clean up.  But I learned, improved and attended one training course after the other. At some point I had no more excuses – and yet I didn’t take the last step. It was only last year, exactly two decades after my first qualification as a trainer, that I made the decision: Now I am a full-time coach.

Currently, a new client has just knocked on my door, who has exactly the same issue, and this is what brought me to write this article.

Today I know what was in my way. But there was not one cause, but many:

“I’m not good enough.”

“I have to be perfect myself first so I can coach others.”

“Making money cannot be that easy.”

“Success means having a lot.”

“I’m afraid I won’t earn enough if I stop doing sales training.”

These are just a few of the many hindering beliefs that stood in my way. Some came from my own history, some even from my ancestors – I had only adopted them. In addition, there were patterns and blockades that also held me back.

Am I particularly screwed up? For a while I even thought that was possible. But now I no longer believe it. No, I’m not particularly nuts, I’m just normally crazy, like most people around me are. The issues may be different but the deep causes are similar. Why else do so many people work in jobs they don’t like or spend their lives with people they don’t respect? Why do so few live out their dreams and so many get stuck in the hamster wheel? The answer is: because we all get a big package that we have to deal with first.

Coaching makes this confrontation possible. And coaching with Logosynthesis even makes it possible to quickly and easily dissolve the blockages we discover and get rid of them once and for all. It may take a while – maybe there is some tidying up to do in your personal “blockade museum”. But it is worth it.

Today I work in my dream job and I live my mission – to inspire people. And from next year on I will even be doing this on my finca on Mallorca.

What about you? How close have you already come to your dream? And what is still holding you back? If you want to be supported, talk to me. The best way is to make an appointment to get to know me right here. It won’t cost you anything and we can talk about how you too can get closer to your dream life step by step with my support.
